The Freshmen Black Football team defeated the GP Wildcats 7-6 in GP last night. Great job boys! GO SANDCRABS
The Jv gold battled Gregory Portland to a last second come from behind 21 to 18 win. Jaiden Farrow opened the game with a fumble recovery on the opening kickoff. Reuben Lu scored on a 15 yard run in the third quarter to put the sandcrabs on the board down 12 to 6, Billy Woody scored from 2 yards out and Hser Sey extra point put the Sandcrabs up 13 to 12. With the Sand crabs down 18 to 13 with 20 seconds left in the game Reuben Lu connected Brandon Guevarra on a 30 yard pass for a touchdown to put the Sandcrabs up 19 to 18 and Billy woody ran in the 2 point conversion to give the Sandcrabs a 21 to 18 lead. The Sandcrab defense took the field and shut down the wildcat offense to end the game with a quarterback sack by Paul Orta, Bo Woody and Brandon Aldana. Reuben Lu led the Sandcrab defense with 8 tackles, Bo Woody had 4 tackles, a quarterback sack and caused a fumble. Noah Key 4 tackles and a fumble recovery and Jaiden Farrow with a fumble recovery and an interception.

Attention Seniors, Jostens will be on campus taking your graduation orders September 27th during lunches and after school. If you cannot order on that day, you may turn your order in on Thursday the 28th with the Junior Ring orders. You will need to bring your first payment to place your order. Extra packets are in the front office if needed. If you have not yet purchased your class ring, you can order your ring at this time as well. Design your ring at www.jostens.com, print your order form and bring it with your other forms.
Attention Juniors, Jostens will be on campus taking class jewelry orders September 28th. You will need your first payment and your order form to place your order. Remember you can print off your order form online at www.jostens.com to speed up the ordering process here at school.
Calhoun Cheerleaders, will be selling Black out Shirts for the First District Game on October 6th. The cost is $20.00 for Small to Extra Large and $25.00 for 2XL & 3XL. You can get with Mrs. Fredericksen or any cheerleader to get your order in. We will only have a limited amount of shirts available. So make sure to get your order in.
Guten Morgan (pronounced: goo-ten mor-gan), Sandcrabs! Want to visit a real castle or watch the world from the top of the Swiss Alps? If so, sign up for the trip to Austria, Germany, and Switzerland! We're going in June 2024. There will be an informational meeting Monday, September 25, at 6:00pm in room E403. Please see Mrs. Reininger for more information and to sign up for the meeting.
