Students, this is a reminder we will be on our modified bell schedule tomorrow to accommodate for our Rethink Ed Lesson.
Anyone interested in the new guitar class for the next school year, please come by the Band Hall to speak to Mr. Vela.
Calhoun Golf competed in the Rockport Golf Invitational at Rockport Country Club. Calhoun took 2 boys teams. The Gold team finished second by 1 stroke. The black team finished 5th. Calhoun Boys were led by Josiah Campos who won the tournament with a 72. Gold team conof Josiah Campos, Heston Lovett, Nick Ragusin, Hayden Ezzel and Tevor Taylor. The Black team consisted of Dravyn Garza, Cole Spicak, Darrick Salinas, Gunner Evans and Patrick Ragusin. The Girls team finished 3rd. The team consisted of Bellah Swope, Lilly Gosset, Lyric Lopez, Gracie Kuta, Kyndra Carriles.
We will be having a senior meeting to discuss the local scholarships at the beginning of 3rd period today. Please listen to the PA when to be released to the auditorium.
Student Council is wanting to celebrate Valentine’s Day by dressing up this week. These are the days: Wednesday: Dynamic Duo—dress as your favorite famous pair/couple, Thursday: Cupid Colors—Wear Valentine’s colors (red, pink, & white)
Attention all Freshmen, Sophomores, & Juniors: CHS will be hosting a Course Fair on Tuesday, February 18th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria. Come by and check out the classes, extracurricular clubs, and sports that will be available to you next year. Registration for next year will start in a couple of weeks. Make sure that you stop by the Course Fair, so that you know what your choices are.
Students - This is a reminder to check your email everyday. Delete messages not needed and read and respond to important ones.
At this time, all Rethink Ed student leaders need to report to Mrs. Sontag's classroom in the Annex, located at A109, for a Yearbook Picture.
