Calhoun High School

The library will be closed all day this Wednesday. Please do not send any students to the library on that day.
Students, this is a message from the cafeteria; it is very important to build a reimbursable meal, i.e., taking either fruit, vegetables, or both during lunch.
Today is ABC your way out of drugs day! StuCo stands for a drug free lifestyle. Tomorrow is Babies vs. Senior Citizens, dress as a baby or a senior citizen to show that a drug free lifestyle is ageless.
Calhoun! Let's show our community some love! THIS FRIDAY, NOV. 1st we will be collecting non-perishable food items for our local food pantry. EVERYONE! Bring 5 items to our football game on Friday night against El Campo! The first 500 people to donate will receive a rally towel. OR! You can drop your items EARLY from 7-9 in the high school parking lot. Beat the rush and get a towel! Look for Coach Parker the big Sports Medicine trailer.
Teachers & Students! Stop by the KIND poster in the cafeteria and take your photo. Post it to your social media and tag CHS StuCo! Be the "I" in kind!
Seniors! StuCo is EXCITED to announce our brand new opportunity for you to make your mark at Calhoun! We will be selling ceiling tiles for our Seniors to decorate. The tiles will replace a plain white tile until the end of the 24-25 school year. You may then take your tile with you to keep forever. Forms and payment will be due in TWO days on October 30th to Coach Spencer in W204. Late payments WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Thought for the day-October is Anti-Bullying Month-“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying “I will try again tomorrow.”-Mary Anne Radmacher
Joke for the day-Did you hear about the frog that lost its car? Apparently it got toad.
Have a great day and remember to Be Kind! Be Smart! and Be Safe!
