The number sense, calculator, and mathematics teams have been selected for UIL for 2025. Go by Mr. Rubac’s room A108 to see if you have made one of the 3 teams. Also, please go by his room to pick up practice materials to practice over spring break.
The Calhoun golf program competed in the Battle of the Crossroads at the Club of Colony Creek in Victoria. Josiah Campos brought home second place overall. Holton Hadley got fourth, Derek Salinas got fifth, Patrick Ragusin got seventh, Trevor Taylor got eighth, Hayden Ezzell got ninth. To finish in the top 10. JV boys, Keelin Peppers got first, Dravyn Garza got third, Cameron Bazzan got eighth, Bryson Harmes got 10th to finish in the top 10. The varsity girls, Maci Bryan brought home third, Bellah Swope got 6th, Lyric Lopez got eighth and Gracie Kuta got ninth. The JV girls took home first, second and third. Arcana Adame got first, Linley Brett got second and Lena Menchaca got third.
Seniors, The online George C. & Elsie Bindewald scholarship is due 3-17-25. Also, all other scholarships will be due to Mrs. McCarthy-Vesely on March 24th by 4pm-NO LATER!
Do not forget that you only have this Friday and Saturday to make up attendance hours for the 1st semester.
