Happy belated birthday to Stacy McKown
A HUGE congratulations to sandies volleyball on an amazing weekend. Varsity, JV, and 9th grade all won the Cuero tournament. That’s a clean sweep for sandies volleyball. Also congratulations to the following varsity players for their All- Tournament awards. Nevaeh Rangel MVP and McKynzie Judd and Kendal Bargas who were named all tournament. The sandies have their first home game tomorrow against Edna and el campo. Please come out and support!
The Varsity tennis team fell short 9-10 in hard fought 4 hour battle VS Victoria East on Friday. Next match will be this Saturday @ Home vs Wharton and CC Veterans Memorial.
Students, this is a reminder that you can not order food to be delivered to you at school or have a parent or guardian bring food to the school to be delivered to you. If you are wanting food outside of what our cafeteria serves, you will need to bring it with you in the morning yourself.
This is a reminder, there is no parking on the band practice field in the morning before school starts.
Class of 2027, there will be a class meeting today at 6 pm in the cafeteria.
There is a quick Horticulture “SPUD” Club meeting on Monday right after school in room V-12. If you cannot show up but still want to participate, let Mr. Hamelwright know.
Senior picture day is Thursday, August 29th. This year we have our very own LeaAnn Ragusin taking professional pictures for our seniors. All seniors must have their picture taken through CHS for their yearbook photo. Students may start signing up now for a time slot for their picture. See Mrs. Sontag in room A109 to schedule your time (or) you may email her to check the times available.
Student registration paperwork was handed out. Students, please take the packet home and have your parent or guardian fill it out completely, they need to put your name of each page and sign each page as needed. Please get them back to your 2nd period teacher as soon as possible,.
Student Council's first meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, August 28th in Mrs. Anderson's room (E206). Everyone is welcome!
Student Council is hosting their first blood drive of the year on Wednesday, August 28th. If you are 16 or older and would like to donate, please sign up using the QR code in Google Classroom. If you are 16, you must have a signed permission slip. You may pick one up from Mrs. Anderson (E206).
