Happy birthday Coach Alexander
This past Saturday, members of the Sandcrab Band competed in the ATSSB Region Band Tryout at Alice High School. 15 members made Region Band and 5 are continuing to Area competition next month. 4A Symphonic Band members are Christina McDonald on Clarinet, Javen Cortez & Celeste Kwi on Trumpet, Bryan Diggs & Sloan Gaines on Euphonium, & Jeremey Vela on Percussion. 4A Concert Band members are Isaac Amejorado & Kashney Cantu on Clarinet Caroline O'Donnell, Troy Sonsel, & Kong Nguyen on Trumpet, Braeden Davis on Trombone, & Juan Miguel on Euphonium. 3A Concert Band members are Ella Vazquez on Oboe and Madison Walker on Tenor Saxophone, Christina, Javen, Bryan, Sloan & Jeremy are Area Qualifiers. WAY TO GO BAND!!!
Over the weekend, Calhoun Esports competed in the UHV High School Showdown in Victoria. Keegan Goode placed 5th in Super Smash Brother Ultimate and our Rocket League Team (Laith Moore, Dominic Garcia, and Jaxon Burris) placed 1st. From our team, thank you all for your support!
Soccer tryouts today…if you have already signed up for the boys soccer tryouts, please show up at the stadium at 4:15 pm today.
Jostens will be on campus to deliver junior rings and senior orders December 14th during all three lunches. Seniors, this will be the last chance to order on campus before spring.
Tip for the day – If your identity is stolen, contact the fraud departments of each of the three major credit bureaus. Tell them that you are an identity theft victim. Request that a fraud alert be placed in your file, along with a statement asking that creditors call you before opening any new accounts or changing your existing accounts.
Homeroom Teachers, at this time please check the tutorial spreadsheet and send students where they need to go. Also, please check the ISS spreadsheet and add assignments for your students
