The CHS Course Fair is tonight! All freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and their parents are invited to come to the CHS cafeteria between 5:00 & 6:00 to check out the classes, clubs, and sports that will be available to them next year.
The Library will be closed all day tomorrow.
The Sandies Varsity team had a successful Weekend going 4-2 in the Calallen Softball Classic, the Sandies also played yesterday vs Taft and won 8-2.
The Sandies hosted Rice Consolidated on Friday and tied 1 to 1. Claire Flores scored the goal with Jaeleigh Campos adding the assist. Jianna Campos led the sandies with 5 steals, Jaeleigh Campos finished the night with 4 steals and Nayeli Vargas, Kamila Ruiz and Jennifer Gallegos had 2 seals apiece. On Monday the Sandies suffer a setback with a loss to top ranked Bay City, The Sandies return on the road Friday to play Wharton.
Calhoun boys powerlifting results Daniel Htoo - 3rd place 114lbs class, David Varela - 3rd place 165lbs class, Fischer Franck - 2nd place 220lbs class Torre Castillo - 3rd place 220lbs class, Landon Strickland - 5th place 242lbs class, Jake Jenkins - 1st place 242 lbs class and Gavin Chavez - 2nd place 275lbs class.
