Happy birthday Coach Bagwell
Calhoun Varsity Girls Golf team competed in the Sweeny Invitational Golf Tournament at The Wilderness Golf Course. The girls team got 4th place led by Bella Swope. The girls team consisted on Lilly Gossett, Bella Swope, Lyric Lopez, Gracie Kuta, Kyndra Carriles. Both of the Calhoun JV golf teams competed in the Victoria West JV Invitational at Riverside golf course in Victoria. The Calhoun Gold team finished 6th. Team consisted of Cameron Bazan, Patrick Ragusin, Keelin Peppers, Nick Ragusin, and Rystan Darlick. The Calhoun Black finished 10th. The team consisted of Greyson Valenzuell, Remington Eure, Cash Shirall, Bryson Harms.
The Sandies hosted El Campo on Tuesday and lost 2 to 0 in a tough defensive battle. Nayeli Vargas led the sandies with 8 steals Jaeleigh Campos had 6 steals and Jianna Campos finished the night with 3 steals. The sandies travel to Columbus on Friday.
Valentines day is next week. Plan ahead and buy some roses for your special someone from any member of the SPUD Club. Want to keep it secret? Buy the rose and put clues on the tag.
