Happy birthday to Ashleigh Wood and happy belated birthday to Danny Castillo
ROTC cadets competed in the Tiger orienteering meet on Saturday. They all did a great job competing. Out of 20 schools that participated CHS brought back trophies for 2nd and 4th places. Teams of: Jeremiah Mayorga and Logyn Middaugh completed the intermediate course by gathering all 15 point in 52 min 38 sec earning them 2nd place. Adelynn Ivy and Ezra Pena completed the intermediate course by gathering all 15 point in 72 min 24 sec earning them 4th place. This meet was designed to prepare the cadets for the Navy orienteering nations in Alabama in March 2025. Congratulations ROTC!
Both Girls and Boys Varsity Cross Country teams placed 18th in the Regional meet at Texas A&M Corpus. Colten Evans punched his ticket to the State tournament by being one of the top ten individual runners in Region 4. Congratulations Colton individual

Alexis Gonzales 17:49. Boys Individual 5k times Colten Evans 17:49, Christopher Herrera 18:49, Matthew Yang 20:26, Rocky Ybarra 20:49, Cristopher Pina 20:58, Linkyn Garza Doolin 21:05 and Dylan Hill 21:52. Congratulations to all the Calhoun Cross Country runners on a fine season!
