The Lake Area Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2022 will be the 13th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie.

Race begins at 8:30. Walk-up registration will open at 7:00.

Hosted by FundRuns and all profits go to Lake Area food pantries and Camdenton Cross Country team.

Registration cost:
Through November 8: $25 (shirt provided)
November 9-22: $25 (no shirt provided)
Race Day Registration - $30 (no shirt provided)

Awards

Overall Male & Female winners receive a plaque, a cash prize & free race entry the following year.

Mens and Women's Divisions awards are given in the following age groups:  20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.

First in each division receives a frozen turkey, second place gets a pecan pie, and third a pumpkin pie.

For boys and girls in the following age groups medals are given: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19.
