On December 5-9, the second grade students at Dogwood sponsored a change drive to benefit schools in Florida that were impacted by hurricanes. During their reading instruction, second grade students learned about how natural disasters can impact communities around the world. So when schools in our country were affected, they found a way to help out. Dogwood Elementary raised $504.46 that will be donated to help schools in Florida recover. We want to thank the families and community for supporting this service learning project!
