CHS student selected to participate in a technology-focused Global Leadership Summit in Berlin, Germany July 2018

CHS research student,  Je'Anne Wagner, participated in last Summer's SMART Institute Internship at the University of Maine - Bangor.  Je'Anne Wagner submitted a water-related solution that addressed a local concern for our community to the Educational Tours Global Citizen Scholarship recently and was just notified that she was selected for this award.  The solution that Je'Anne submitted was a direct result of her work at the  U-Maine SMART Institute that she attended last Summer and addressed a local concern here at Lake of the Ozarks (MO) related to E. coli contamination and faulty septic systems.  As a result of this project Je'Anne will participate in the technology-focused Global Leadership Summit in Berlin, Germany July 2018 and have the opportunity to collaborate with other young leaders to design solutions for the Global technological landscape.  If selected from this institute, Je'Anne will have the chance to travel to, and have her solution featured, in the Nobel Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.
