Freshman Information

  • Freshman “Mock Schedule”:  12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

    • Students will begin at Camdenton Middle School at 12:30 p.m. Lunch will not be provided so students are encouraged to eat before they arrive. We will be sharing information with students, and we will walk to Bob Shore Stadium to illustrate their graduation walk in 2027. Students will then ride buses to CHS where they will attend all of their classes on a shortened schedule. Mock Schedule events will conclude at the high school at approximately 3:30 p.m.    


  • Open House and Meet the Teacher:  4:00 – 7:00 p.m. 

    • During Open House, students and parents will be able to pick up course schedules, meet teachers, and complete the following: parking permits, lunch accounts, random student drug testing forms, and activity fees.

 

  • Freshman Parent Meeting, RC Worthan Auditorium, beginning at 5:00 p.m. 

 

Thursday, August 17th 

 

  • Freshman Lock-in / Orientation at Camdenton High School: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. 

    • During the Freshman Lock-in and Orientation, 9th grade students will be dropped off and participate in activities that will help them become familiar with the high school building and learn about lunch procedures, before/after school structures, bus procedures, and transportation to LCTC for courses. Pizza will also be provided for students. Our goal is to make this a fun and informative evening for students, and provide the opportunity for them to ask questions and clarify any needs before school begins on August 22.
