CHS Speech and Debate students competed at the Ozark National Speech and Debate District

Camdenton Speech and Debate will be represented at the National Speech and Debate Tournament held June 15-22, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Hannah Rogers kept consistently strong performances throughout the tournament to finish first and qualify for Nationals in Informative Speaking.

Several other team members had strong performances, but only the top three in each event qualify. “The Ozark National Speech and Debate District was ranked third out of 104 in the nation as of March 7, so the Camdenton team knew they had their work cut out for them going in,” states speech and debate coach Tom Martin.
