The conference featured lectures and presentations by UIL contest directors, college professors, and high school teachers. Sessions included discussions on contest preparation, demonstrations, performances and contest administration. Students may choose from novice and advanced sessions in some academic areas, as well as small-group sessions in specific UIL activities.
The information and knowledge gained will now be used to prepare students for UIL academic and speech contests in the Spring.
