Lars Nelson and Hope Sharp returned for the second year in a row to the UIL State Academic Meet in Austin. Lars competed in Science and Hope in Ready Writing.
At this level they are competing against eleven other students in Class 4A to determine who medals for the top six places in all events, top teams, and top scores in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
This year Lars placed 3rd overall in Science and 1st for Top Score in Biology and Hope placed 8th in Ready Writing!
A HUGE Congratulations to Lars and Hope for an outstanding job in representing Borger High School!
