Abigail Duran is a 2015 graduate of Borger High School. During high school, Abigail participated in tennis and spent time serving in her local church here in Borger (Christian Center/Liberty Worship). As a senior, she helped lead the first ever Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk (JDRF). This event was started by her class, the Class of 2015. When asked what her fondest memory of high school was, Abigail mentioned participating in the BHS/United Way Day of Caring. She said, “I remember participating in the Day of Caring and serving our community elders with our senior class. I was given the privilege of working with an elderly couple. Seeing their smiles because of our acts of kindness was truly an unforgettable experience.”
After graduation, she spent a year helping her parents in their ministry here in Borger. Afterwards, she moved to Vancouver, Washington, where she attended the International Air and Hospitality Academy. She graduated in 2018. She is currently employed as a flight attendant out of Phoenix, Arizona. She works for both American and United Airlines on E-175 and CRJ 900 aircrafts. She said she thoroughly enjoys traveling to Canada, Mexico, and across the United States. She said she is beyond grateful for the doors that God has opened for her.
