Colby Webb is a 2015 Borger High School graduate. While in high school, Colby played both football and baseball. In baseball, he was awarded with First Team All-District honors as a First Basemen his Junior and Senior years. Academically, Colby excelled in high school. He graduated with several college credit hours and took several AP courses. He also maintained a position in the top 10 students of his class all four years of high school. He was active in the National Honor Society, BHS Day of Caring, and the Snack Pak 4 Kids program in
Borger. After graduation, Colby went on to Oklahoma Panhandle State University to play baseball and pursue degrees in Biology and Chemistry. While at OPSU, Colby maintained a 4.0 GPA, and participated in several volunteer programs in the city of Guymon, Oklahoma. After a hip injury during his Freshman year of college, Colby decided to transfer to Oregon State University to pursue degrees in both Bio-health Sciences and Chemistry with a Pre-Med option. At Oregon State University, Colby participated in multiple years of undergraduate research, maintained above a 3.5 GPA, and will graduate in June of 2020 with a double major in Bio-health Sciences and Chemistry. He has worked as an Athletic Performance coach for multiple high school athletic programs in Oregon while in college and is currently operating as a self-employed Fitness Professional while finishing up his research at Oregon State University. He has plans to pursue a career in the Research and Development of Pharmaceuticals. Borger ISD and Borger High School are extremely proud of Colby and wish him well in his future endeavors!
