The Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts was a dream conceived by several individuals and organizations throughout our community. This dream has been nurtured over time as a result of the unending passion and support for the performing arts, visual arts, fine arts and culinary arts.
The Brainerd Public Schools Board of Education, in collaboration with teachers, administration, local arts community and organizations, had a vision to build something world class for our students and community in which to enhance academic achievement and artistic opportunities throughout our region.
